Sandra Chevrier paints her first ever mural for Nuart 15 in Stavanger, Norway

While we stopped by her Studio a few weeks ago, Sandra Chevrier is now in Norway where she painted her first ever public piece for Nuart 2015.

While we stopped by her Studio a few weeks ago, Sandra Chevrier is now in Norway where she painted her first ever public piece for Nuart 2015.
Sandra Chevrier is producing work that unites a feminine gaze with heroic expression, creating powerful and metaphorically androgynous art. Her colors are sharp, and her tools peculiar; Chevrier uses paint and actual comic book strips to produce mixed-media illustrations of women. This mural was painted as the first part of the Aftenblad Wall project that Nuart is doing with Stavanger Aftenblad newspaper. The idea of the project is to commission a new art piece every 3 months.
