Rustam Qbic paints "Blossom", a large mural in Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia

Rustam Qbic was recently in Nizhniy Novgorod in Russia, painting a large mural for New City Festival there. After 11 days working in the cold snowy weather, the Russian artist completed his massive piece on a 9 story building.
True to his style and imagery, "Blossom" is a surreal image showing 3 characters blooming while reading books. Usually focused on knowledge, wisdom and importance of education, Rustam once again created a striking image with a deep message. With a harmonious color palette somewhere between pastel green and dark purple, he painted this large image that brights up the cold surrounding.
The mural can be seen in person @ Chernyakhovsky 9A, or more closeup and process images along with a video of Rustam working on this huge piece can be found after the jump.
