Pejac New Street Piece - Santander, Spain

Spanish artist Pejac was recently in Santander in north of Spain where he created this new street piece in a risky neighbourhood of the city. He found a spot where a car was burnt few months ago, so the head of it peeled of the facade of the building and exposed the bricks under.

True to his style and technique, Pejac used this as a base for his work, and with minimal intervention and maximal effect created this strong image of a paper plane bursting through the brick wall. By using simple perspective and dimension tricks, and perfectly handling the given base, the end result is a typical example of his public interventions he's been creating.
